San Jose Film Showing and Meeting in Solidarity with Carlos Montes

The South Bay Committee Against Political Repression is sponsoring a film showing of
"Walkout!" about the 1968 Los Angeles Chicano high school student protests that Carlos
Montes was involved in. The event is Thursday,June 16, 7 pm, at the SJ Peace and Justice
Center, 48 S. 7th St. San Jose. The event has been endorsed by MAIZ San Jose and the San Jose
Nihonmachi Outreach Committee (NOC). Admission is free, and donations will be solicited for
Carlos Montes' legal defense.
