The Committee Against Political Repression is conducting an online art and services auction as a fundraiser to support the 23 anti-war and international solidarity activists that have been targeted by the FBI. All proceeds from this auction will go to their legal defense fund. For updates on the situation, make sure to check www.stopfbi.net.

How the auction works:
»» Online bidding begins February 2, 2011 at 8:00am CST.
»» Online bidding ends on February 11, 2011 at 11:59pm CST. No exceptions.
»» Send online bids to DefendDissentAuction@gmail.com.
»» Only bids sent to DefendDissentAuction@gmail.com will be considered valid bids.
»» On the subject line of the email, include the item number of the item you want to bid on.
»» Each auction item in the auction book will be bid on separately.
»» In order to establish your valid bid, you must bid at least the minimum bid printed in the auction book.
»»The bidder will send an email to DefendDissentAuction@gmail.com with their bid. As bids come in, the bidder will be notified of the highest bid and given an opportunity to raise their bid. The highest bid over the minimum bid at closing time will be the winner
»» Winning bidders must pay in full for purchased items with check, MasterCard or Visa prior to receiving item or certificate. Winning bidders will be notified via email and sent a link where their payment can be made online. Checks (payable to Committee to Stop FBI Repression) may also be used.
»» The buyer of an auction service will be notified via email as to the donor contact information. The buyer should contact the donor and arrange for the service.
»» The buyer of an auction item will be notified via email. Arrangements for receiving that item will be made at that time.
»» Any item that requires the scheduling of a date MUST BE MUTUALLY AGREED UPON between the donor and the winning bidder.  Restrictions may apply to scheduling.
