5/10/2011 Congressman John Conyers (MI) writes letter to Attorney General Eric Holder about FBI raids The CSFR met with the Judiciary Committee Counsel at the office of Congressman Conyers (MI) and received tremendous support. Within one day the office was contacting delegation members for further information and in just three days sent a letter to Attorney General Holder.

4/26/2011 Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky writes letter to Attorney General Eric Holder regarding FBI raids on activists Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky (Illinois) has written a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder regarding the September 24 FBI raids on anti-war and international solidarity activists. Rep. Schakowsky also attached a letter provided by Michael Deutsch, an attorney with the People's Law office and a member of the Committee to Stop FBI Repression legal team. These two letters send a strong statement to Holder about Schakowsky's concern for the issues involved in the case.

2/25/2015 Defense attorneys file "sentencing memorandum" calling for judge NOT to imprison Rasmea Odeh Today, defense attorneys for Rasmea Odeh, Chicago’s 67-year-old Palestinian community leader, filed a “sentencing memorandum” in a Detroit federal court, arguing that Odeh “should not be sentenced to further imprisonment” following her conviction in November 2014 on a single charge of Unlawful Procurement of Naturalization.  
4/8/2012 Denounce Supreme Court Decision to Protect Liars   On April 2, 2012 the U.S. Supreme Court ruled unanimously in Rehberg v. Paulk that police investigators are immune from civil damage suits for giving false testimony to a grand jury. Grand juries are secret courts, run solely by prosecutors, with no judge, and those being investigated have no right to a lawyer or to having evidence favorable to them being presented. Now the Supreme Court rules that law enforcement agents who lie in these official proceedings cannot be held accountable in civil court for lying.   
5/19/2011 FBI and LA County Sheriff raid veteran Chicano activist Carlos Montes On May 17, 2011 at 5:00 AM the SWAT Team of the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department and members of the FBI raided the home of Carlos Montes, a long time Chicano activist and active member of the Committee to Stop FBI Repression.
11/2/2011 FBI confirms that they copied tens of thousands of documents seized from the homes of local anti-war activists; originals returned, indictments still looming The FBI says they have finished copying the political material and personal papers seized in the September 24, 2010, raids on the homes of Twin Cities anti-war and international solidarity activists.  This afternoon, November 1, FBI agents delivered the last batch of notebooks, family photos, membership lists for anti-war groups, and political documents to the office of attorney Bruce Nestor. The FBI has been returning the material seized in the raids over the last several weeks.
12/21/2010 FBI delivers subpoenas to four more anti-war, solidarity activists as U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald Expands Witch Hunt The FBI came unannounced to knock on doors at two apartments in Chicago this morning. FBI agent Robert Parker, under orders from U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald’s office, delivered a subpoena to Maureen Murphy. Murphy, like several other individuals served subpoenas, is an organizer with the Palestine Solidarity Group-Chicago.
